Come and try out your next new bike!
We’re excited to announce details of our Mountain Bike Demo
Day, which will be held on April 14th at the Nant BH Outdoor
Activity Centre in North Wales.
It’s your chance to try out some of the best bikes on the
planet on the top class singletrack of a section of the Gwydir Mawr trail
(formerly the Marin Trail).

Who will be there?
There is a huge choice of full suspension MTB’s from Santa
Cruz, Orange, Whyte and Cube available to demo. Wherever you ride and whatever
kind of rider you are, there will be a bike available to take your riding to
the next level.
In addition to this we will have the latest generation of
E-MTB’s available from Orange Cube and Focus.

Whilst we will do our best to keep this list up to date, it can change due to factors out or our control.
Models are in limited supply so book quickly to make sure you bag your preferred ride.
Once you’re booked on we’ll get in touch with you to book
you on to your preferred bike for each test ride, ensuring that you get the
most out of your day. It’s a great opportunity to try bikes back to back and
really get a feel for them on some testing terrain!
Experts from each brand will be on hand to answer any
questions you may have and ensure you get the most from your test rides.
Smith Helmets will also be in attendance with their
excellent helmets for you to try and Burgtec will be bringing test sets of
their legendary Penthouse MK4’s for all of you flat pedal lovers.
What’s the riding
like?
We think that it’s important that you get some quality time
in on the bikes – nobody learns anything from laps of the car park! That’s why
we will be taking you out in smaller groups on a longer section of trail, with
guides to assist if you have questions or need to make any tweaks. If you’ve
ridden here before before then you know what to expect from sections like
“Dragons Back” and Dwsin Drwg”- if you haven’t then you’re in for a treat!
As if that’s not enough we’ll even be feeding you in between
rides with some top notch food to keep your energy levels up!
Tickets
Tickets for the demo day cost £20. We donate £10 of this to
the Wales Air Ambulance, with the remainder going towards the guiding for the
day. We think it’s a fair price for a chance to try out some great new kit and
of course it benefits a great cause.

FAQ’s
What is the minimum
age for test rides?
You must be 16 years or older to attend the demo day. Under
18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
What ID will I need?
You will need to bring a valid UK Passport or Photographic
Driving License and a matching credit/debit card for security.
You will also need to print out copy of your registration
ticket with you – you won’t be able to show it on your phone at the venue as
there is no phone signal!
What do I need to
bring with me?
You will need to bring your normal riding kit, as well as
your pedals. Please ensure that you bring your helmet. Whilst we will have Demo
helmets from Smith on the day, there may not be enough for everyone. No helmet
= no ride!
What time is it on
from?
Registration will open at 9.30. Last rides should finish by 3pm.
Can I just turn up
and ride?
No. Unfortunately only people booked on to the day will be
eligible to ride.
